The idea of making premium red wines has a long history and is primarily a response to whether Moravia has ‘proper’ red wines. After phenomenal years in 2005, 2006, 2018, and 2019, when the vineyards were already sufficiently mature, we decided to introduce wines from these vintages to you in 2021. “Paths to excellent craft-art are not either only simple but neither are short usually. Achieving premium fine wines requires namely premium vineyards, relevant experience, knowledge, and a considerable dose of humility and patience. When premium vineyards, vintage size, and winemakers’ expertise align, nothing prevents the creation of outstanding premium wine.” – Doc. Ing. Miloš Michlovský, DrSc says.
